The RWOP Scholarship Committee is pleased to share a summary of this year’s scholarship process and to extend sincere appreciation to our members whose generosity and commitment make this program possible. We received 18 outstanding applications from students across the Quad Cities region, including Bagdad. Each applicant demonstrated exceptional achievement, character, and promise. A committee of five RWOP volunteers carefully reviewed and ranked all submissions, ultimately selecting 10 finalists for in-person interviews. The interviews were conducted on March 25th and evaluated using a merit-based scoring system and standardized interview criteria. This structured process has been used by RWOP since the scholarship program’s inception in 2015, ensuring fairness and consistency in selection. From this process, we are proud to recognize our 2026 scholarship recipients, each of whom has shown academic excellence and strong future potential. |
